Nightgrave Publishing is an independent home for horror, gothic fiction, supernatural suspense, psychological thrillers, dark crime, hip-hop crime fiction, Italian fiction, and carefully selected romance. The press was founded in 2026 by Tampa author and publisher Brandon Burnside.

Nightgrave builds focused, professional editions while protecting each author’s voice through collaborative editing, transparent terms, and written publishing agreements.

As both an American and Italian citizen, Burnside brings a cross-cultural perspective to the press. Nightgrave’s Italian-language line extends that vision by supporting distinctive Italian voices and introducing their work to a wider readership.

Nightgrave is considering complete, original manuscripts in its core dark-fiction categories. There are no reading fees or pay-to-publish packages, and manuscripts written or rewritten by generative AI are not accepted.

Brandon Burnside

Brandon Burnside leads each Nightgrave title from its first review to the finished edition. He evaluates submissions and acquisitions, works directly with authors to strengthen their manuscripts, and protects the individual voice and identity of every book.

Performs developmental editing, line editing, copyediting, and final proofreading.
Prepares print interiors, eBooks, metadata, copyright pages, and publication-ready files.
Directs cover concepts, book branding, author pages, marketing graphics, and release materials.
Oversees KDP and IngramSpark production, catalog decisions, contracts, and final approval for every Nightgrave edition.

His role combines an author’s understanding of story with hands-on publishing production, giving Nightgrave writers a clear path from manuscript to professionally prepared book.
