MieMie Hsu becomes partner and Co-CEO.

Nightgrave Publishing announces an equal partnership between founder Brandon Burnside and author MieMie Hsu, agreed on October 6, 2026. Both serve as Co-CEOs.

Shared leadership, clear responsibilities

Brandon remains Founder and leads editing, book and cover design, production, platform uploads, and ordinary publishing decisions. MieMie serves as Co-Owner, Co-CEO, and Director of Author Relations and Marketing, leading author communication, social media, publicity, launches, bookstore and retail outreach, and events.

The partners share responsibility for building Nightgrave. New authors and major business decisions require written agreement from both partners; neither may sell the business alone.

Existing author contracts remain in effect. Authors retain their personal copyrights under their publishing agreements. The partners’ separate author platforms and personal creative work remain distinct from the publishing business.

New author submissions

MieMie reviews new publisher submissions first. Only projects she approves for further consideration proceed to Brandon for second editorial review. Both partners must agree before a new author is accepted.
